Food and drink
Whether you choose family dining or fine dining, fantastic Cornish cuisine is at the heart of our hospitality. From organic beef reared on Goonhilly Downs to mackerel caught off the Lizard, our menus are based on ingredients sourced from local growers, artisan suppliers and seafood plucked from the ocean in view.
Choose casual dining in the Vista Lounge or more formal dining in the restaurant. Our expert chefs create seasonal, Cornish-inspired menus tailored to grown-ups and children. From succulent seafood to bangers and mash, mocktails to mussels, we make dining a sensory experience for the whole family.
From big breakfasts and leisurely lunches, to room service and snacks packed for the beach, we offer flexible dining options. Children's meals are served all day, and we serve a children’s High Tea with nannies on hand to help. While there’s no need to worry about your children’s table manners if you opt for family dining, once little ones are tucked up in bed you can switch on the baby listener (or we’ll arrange a babysitter if you prefer) and enjoy a child-free, romantic dinner for two.
Our Local Suppliers
Our chefs ensure that the finest, freshest ingredients are plated up in our restaurants. Our seafood comes from a small family business, Kelynack Fish, and our ice cream comes from Moomaid, whose herd of Friesian cows graze out in Zennor. We also grow herbs in our own kitchen garden and serve the finest Cornish tipples: Camel Valley wines and St Austell-brewed Korev lager.
We like to make mealtimes easy and convenient for families. Choose casual dining, fine dining or room service. Children's meals and light snacks are served all day, and you are welcome to have meals delivered to your room. Our chef will also provide fresh, pureed baby food from 8am–9pm.
Breakfast is very much a family, affair. Even the youngest guests can help themselves to the buffet and pile their plates with cereals, yoghurts, fresh fruit, pastries and muffins. In addition to the continental buffet, our plated options – from a full English to Belgian waffles with berry compote – are designed to fortify all ages for an active, fun-packed day ahead.
Lunch is an informal, leisurely affair, and on balmy days dining tables spill out onto the terrace for alfresco meals and afternoon cream teas. Of course we understand that many of you will be out exploring during the daytime, in which case we can pack you a picnic.
Children’s High Tea is served between 5–6pm daily, because we understand that young diners like to eat early. Our nannies are on-hand to help out, so parents can relax with aperitifs and nibbles. Or, if or you prefer to sit down for dinner together, we offer a family dining option too.
Dinner is a sophisticated, yet relaxed affair in our restaurant. Tuck into divine Cornish cuisine, sip vintages recommended by our knowledgeable team, stare out to the moonlit ocean and relax with your partner under the discreet and attentive service of our staff.
