We’re delighted to share some wonderful news about the future of Hotel Polurrian. An exciting new chapter is about to begin, marking a significant milestone in our journey and an investment in creating an even more exceptional experience for our guests and community.
To enable the first phase of our major extension and improvement scheme, Hotel Polurrian will temporarily close on Sunday 4th January, reopening on Friday 27th March 2026. This initial closure allows us to safely and efficiently commence works that will transform and enhance the hotel for years to come.
What’s Coming
This ambitious development has been carefully designed to elevate every aspect of the Polurrian experience. The overall project will include:
- A brand-new Function Suite accommodating up to 120 guests, ideal for celebrations, events, and gatherings.
- 10 new luxury bedrooms, offering enhanced comfort and contemporary style.
- Extensive new Wellbeing & Leisure facilities, including:
- A stunning Infinity Pool with a partially retractable glass roof
- Four Spa Treatment Rooms designed for rest and rejuvenation
- An attractive alfresco dining terrace, boasting breathtaking views across Polurrian Cove and Mullion Island.
Project Timeline
Main on-site works will commence on 5th January 2026 and are scheduled for completion by March 2027. We are pleased to confirm that from Friday 27th March 2026, the hotel will reopen and continue to operate throughout the remainder of the project.
Our team has carefully planned the project in phases to minimise disruption. Guest comfort remains a priority, and we will ensure clear communication at every stage. We will also continue to keep the local village community regularly informed on progress.
