It is fair to say that 2021 got off to an unusual start for everyone but, after what has felt like a very long wait, we can finally fling open the doors to Polurrian once again and get back to what we do best: making memories!

What’s on near the Polurrian this spring?
Spring arrives early in Cornwall, the first proper sign coming with the characteristically Cornish daffodils in February. And as the landscape starts to flush with life once again, it’s a magical time of year to get out and about for walks.

It had been a wet 300 mile drive down to Cornwall, firstly stopping off overnight at an Airbnb we had found in St Ives and then on to our destination for the next three days, the fabulous Polurrian on the Lizard, a 41-bedroom hotel right down on the southern tip of England, which has just undergone a refurbishment project.
