Whether you’re planning a big get together with family and friends, or something more intimate with a loved one, the Polurrian is the perfect place to start your Christmas celebrations.
Located on the Lizard Bay Peninsula, the Polurrian’s restaurant and Vista area offer stunning panoramic views of the Cornish coast, with incredible ocean views – the perfect backdrop for a special Christmas dining experience.
But the star of any Christmas meal is of course the food, which is why we go that extra mile to make sure our festive menu won’t disappoint. Not only do we offer a versatile selection of food options to cater for all tastes and dietary requirements, but we also source our ingredients from the best local producers to ensure those dining with us can enjoy the finest flavours that Cornwall offers. We’re also proud to offer a fantastic selection of wines, ales, spirits and sparkling wines for those celebrating with us this festive season.

For those looking for a more casual way to celebrate with friends and family this Christmas, we also offer a festive afternoon tea option. Join us for one of our award-winning festive afternoon teas, served with a host of delicious sweet and savoury treats, including a famous Cornish scone, homemade jam, and clotted cream. Guests can also enjoy their afternoon tea with a selection of drink choices. Whether you fancy something hot, something sparkly, or something more refreshing, we have a great range of drinks available to provide the perfect pairing for your afternoon tea.
Our award-winning festive afternoon tea will be available until Saturday 21st December. Please book in advance.

Lined with twinkling Christmas lights, decadent festive decorations, and local shops selling a host of delicious Christmas treats, the Cornish coast offers a magical build-up to Christmas. There’s even a great selection of local festive events that all can enjoy, from the Trelissick Christmas display at the National Trust’s Trelissick Estate, to the Truro Christmas Market or the Porthleven Lights and Christmas Market.
CHRISTMAS BREAKS
The Polurrian Christmas can be just as you wish – relax in the Vista soaking up the incredible views, wrap up warm and walk along the South West Coast Path, or venture down to our beautiful, secluded beach. A delicious three-course dinner is included on Christmas Eve, and for the main event, Christmas Day, you’ll enjoy a festive feast for lunch, followed by a delicious buffet dinner in the evening. A Cornish lunch set menu will also be available on Boxing Day.
Gather everyone together and enjoy a Cornish Christmas short break to remember! Rates start from £725 for a two-night break based on two adults sharing an Inland room. Rates are inclusive of breakfast, Christmas Eve dinner, Christmas Day lunch, Christmas Day evening buffet, entertainment, gifts, and Boxing Day lunch. Bed and breakfast rates are available from £189 per night based on two adults sharing an Inland Double room.
TWIXMAS
Escape, take a breath, and re-energise with a short break between Christmas and New Year. Savour the simple things – enjoy delicious local food, warming drinks, and refreshing walks on the sand while soaking up the natural beauty of this breathtaking, world-renowned location. Rejuvenating spa treatments are available, along with exceptional and indulgent dinners in our scenic, newly-refurbished restaurant.
Our Recharger rates start from £179 for a one-night, dinner-inclusive stay for two adults sharing an Inland room. Recharger rates are available between 27th and 29th December.
