To add to our wonderful range of accommodation options on offer, from summer 2025 there’s a new way to holiday here on Cornwall’s wild and rugged Lizard peninsula. Available to book from July, Trevean on the Lizard is a four-bedroom luxury rental for the whole family with an outdoor heated infinity pool and exceptional Views of Mullion Cove and Mullion Island. What’s more, the property comes with exclusive use of a Monaco Garcia electric buggy to get around, as well as access to the facilities of our hotel.
Contemporary, Spacious, Stunning
The former holiday home of the Polurrian’s Lincolnshire-based owner, Trevean has been completely transformed into the ultimate coastal bolthole following an eight month renovation project. The ground floor comprises a contemporary kitchen and dining area plus a vast living space with views out over the bay, both making the most of original exposed brickwork and beams. The ground floor master bedroom also enjoys sea views as does the first floor bedroom. A further two bedrooms are offered at the front of the property on the ground floor (all four providing en-suite facilities). An upstairs family room and roof terrace complete the offering and help make this the ultimate holiday destination.
Mullion Cove: A Slice of History on the Cornish Coast
Built in the 1890s at the height of the pilchard industry and owned by the National Trust, picturesque Mullion Cove is home to a small fishing fleet. From dipping to seal and bird spotting, this area is ideal for those wanting to escape to a slower pace of life. Active travellers can sign up for kayaking and coasteering tours from the cove with Lizard Adventure from May to September or step out on the South West Coast Path to explore coves and beaches further to the north and south. In the winter months, hunker down and watch the storms roll in off the Atlantic.

Whether it’s for a woodfired pizza, sunset cocktail (or mocktail), open-air clifftop cinema screening or spa treatment, guests need only hop into Trevean’s electric buggy to enjoy all the facilities at Polurrian on the Lizard. The four-seater Monaco Garcia is also perfect for popping to the beach with a picnic.
