Dog-Friendly Beaches on the Lizard

We know that your family isn’t complete without its pets, which is why we welcome well-behaved dogs in our pet-friendly rooms. If you're looking for dog friendly beaches to visit during your stay, here's our recommendations:

Mullion Cove Beach

Mullion Cove on the west coast of the Lizard Peninsula is a small sandy beach, mostly covered at high tide, beside the historic lifeboat station and picturesque Mullion harbour. The beach is dog friendly all year round.

Kennack Sands Beach

Kennack Sands, near the village of Kuggar on the Lizard peninsula, is comprised of two beaches with some grassy areas which are divided by the small hill of Carn Kennack and a shore rock feature called Caerverracks. The beach is dog friendly all year round.

Cadgwith Beach

This attractive fishing village on the Lizard has two small east-facing shingle beaches and home to local fishing boats. Cadgwith Cove East is dog friendly all year long.

Porthoustock Beach

Known locally as Pro'stock, Porthoustock is an east-facing beach with a large flat expanse of coarse dark sand and shingle that is popular with divers as there are lots of shipwrecks in the area around the Manacles. The beach is dog friendly all year round.
