Marconi Centre
Just a short stroll (20 minutes or so) along the cliffs you can visit the Marconi Centre. Guglielmo Marconi was the first person to send a transatlantic signal from the cliffs above Poldhu Beach. Gallery Anthony
In Mullion Meadows you will find Gallery Anthony. They sell artwork as well as a range of the art materials used in their work and they will demonstrate and share painting techniques. Gallery Anthony also offers 60minute taster sessions, three of which per day on a Sunday, Wednesday and Thursday (booking essential). During one of these sessions you will be working with Caran d’Ache, Neocolor II water-soluble crayons and Neoart water-soluble pastels on a high wet strength Japanese tissue paper. RNAS Culdrose
On your way to Helston you will pass by RNAS Culdrose, one of two remaining Royal Navy Air Stations in the country. It is home to all sorts of aircraft and was the arrival of the Olympic Flame for the 2012 London Olympics. It has a free viewing area (well sign-posted from the A3083 main road). – TR12 7RH

Lizard Point and the Lighthouse
Lizard Point is the most Southerly point on the British mainland and is spectacular! Also spectacular are Ann’s Pastys, located in the village; the best and most traditional pasties for miles around. Roskilly’s Farm
Take all the family to this local, organic Cornish Farm. The family have been making their delicious ice-cream, fudge and other products from their beautiful Jersey cow’s for years.
