Visit a real working dairy farm, where Jersey cows graze happily and delicious organic ice cream is made.
The Roskilly family has had a Jersey herd at Tregellast Barton since 1950, when there were 40 acres and 30 cows. And although the farm has now grown to 200 acres and the herd’s over 100, they’re still Jerseys, and their milk’s still ideal for turning into ice cream. They’ve never used pesticides or artificial fertilisers, which is why their land and herd have been certified fully organic by the Soil Association since 1995.
Tour the farm, watch the cows being milked and enjoy wonderful walks... and while you’re at it, why not sample the ice cream?
